Hey! In my world there is a triple-junction where one of the mid-ocean ridges gets subducted by a newly formed subduction zone. It should leave a weak point in the crust, yes? If so, what feature type should be used to represent this?
I’m not sure if there’s a specific feature type for that, but the feature class comments in the GPlates Geological Information Model might be helpful (the feature descriptions in the Create Feature dialog in GPlates come from there, but the comments provide extra information outside of GPlates).
