I’m looking at using GPlates for some creative projects in the near future, and I’m hoping to find out what requirements are needed to run the program effectively on a computer (CPU, RAM, or anything else that’s applicable). I haven’t been able to find this information, so if someone could tell me where to find it or tell me what the recommended specs are, I would really appreciate it!
The reason you can’t find such requirements is that there are basically none. I think any relatively modern system should probably work.

That’s right, pretty much any modern system will do fine. Also, for GPlates 2.3 you’ll need graphics hardware supporting OpenGL version 2 or above (but that’s ancient, almost 20 years old).
