Passing on a viz suggestion from a colleague (from the stratigraphy community) - and maybe it is an idea for the app you are developing. In addition to the absolute time being displayed, having a stratigraphic scale (e.g. with Era/Period/Epochs and Stage if possible) also shown would be nice. I.e. similar to the time slider at the top but with the corresponding names/colours from the GTS. Cheers! Grace
