Hello,
I am wanting to pin a current day raster file to the outline of current day australia and moving it through geological time. Is this possible?
I am using the tectonic model from the Gplates tutorial 3.2 and would like the raster file to warp with the continent as it moves accross the Earths surface.

Hi Grace,

Yes, if you follow that tutorial you can just connect the present day coastlines or continental polygons (instead of the static polygons).

And if you want to reconstruct the raster with only the Australia polygon then you can select it (with the Choose Feature tool) and then clone it into a new layer/file (using the Clone Feature button - see image below). Then connect that new layer to the raster.
