Whenever I create one specific piece of ocean crust whether it’s through topologies or I put every point in manually, it always is put in a new layer also called “ocean crust” but it’s a resolved topological geometries layer, not like the others so it doesn’t show up blue. I’ve been following Artifexian’s guide on topologies and have been using the same process as him so there shouldn’t be an issue. Is there a way to maybe remove this layer without deleting all ocean crust or maybe link the two layers together or something?
Hi Rusx,
It will always be a separate (purple) layer if there’s topologies. Probably easiest is to also colour it blue (like you did the regular green “ocean crust” layer) by clicking Set Draw Style
.
Also, the menu option View > Geometry Visibility > Show Topological Sections
can affect this. After setting the draw style, try unchecking that option (to hide the bits that the topologies are composed from). Just be sure to check it again when building new topologies.
I don’t know what the Artifexian tutorial does (I’m not a worldbuilder). So, if that doesn’t work then perhaps the worldbuilders on this forum might be able to help.
