Hii, I need to know if its possible to put toguether a set of different feature collections in a single .gpml file, but keeping the layers. I mean, I have two gpml files with one layer each, is it possible to make them one gpml file with both layers inside?
Hi Alisson,
Not really, because the layer parameters are stored in the project file (or recent session store) whereas the feature data is stored in the gpml file. This is because we’ve intentionally kept the data separate from how it is used/displayed.
It is possible to have two gpml files in one layer (but not two layers in one gpml file)…
Just out of interest, what is the reason you want to do this? Is it so you only need to keep one file (instead of two; or three if you count the project file)?
