GPlates Community Forum & Community Feedback Opportunity

Dear GPlates community,

The GPlates Community Forum will be held on **2 February 2026**, alongside the Australian Earth Science Convention (AESC) in Melbourne and supported by AuScope.

The forum is designed as a two-way conversation, bringing together the GPlates community — including both long-time users and those not yet engaged — to help shape where the GPlates family of products (GPlates, pygplates, GPlately, GPlates Web Service and related tools) goes next.

Click here to register for the forum: https://icmsaust.eventsair.com/2026-australian-earth-sciences-convention-aesc-2026/fieldtrips-workshopsform/Site/Register

We genuinely want to hear your ideas, needs, priorities, and emerging use cases. If you’re unable to attend the forum in person, we’ve created a feedback form so you can still contribute your thoughts and have your voice included. Please feel free to share anything you think would help make GPlates a better tool for the broader community.

Link to the feedback form is here: https://forms.gle/YtfBg3MmHdPdbHbq7

All input — whether shared at the forum or via the feedback form — will be read, discussed, and used to inform our future plans.

If you have any questions, or would prefer to provide feedback via email, please feel free to contact me or anyone else from the GPlates team. https://www.gplates.org/

We’d very much value your input!

Cheers,

GPlates Dev Team
