Basically as it says in the title, have a place to bring up any bugs we encounter and discuss potential workarounds and development-side solutions. It looks like these have mostly found a place in Q&A, but that category seems to be used mostly for asking how to do things etc.
There’s now a Bug Reports category on the main page.
