Release GPlates as Snap or Flatpak for Linux

I did a tutorial on how installing Gplates using docker. So it is possible to install the .deb build for a older ubuntu (24.06) version in a newer one (26.04).

I think this will work even after updating the system:

Hi everyone, I recently ran into a common problem: The .deb package for GPlates 2.5.0 is built specifically for Ubuntu 24.04 (Noble), but my host system is running Kubuntu 26.04.
